The Inspiration

These watches look back to the 1940s, when a wristwatch was still a piece of jewellery first and an instrument second — small by modern standards, decorated, and meant to be noticed.

We kept the proportions deliberately compact. A watch should sit under a cuff, not compete with it.

These are compact enough for daily wear and finished enough for a dinner — the two-finish case is what makes the same watch work in both settings.

For formal evenings, choose a leather strap in a colour matched to your belt or shoes; keep the steel bracelet for the office.
